My name is Natalie Webster and I am a life coach, NLP practitioner and personal trainer. I studied a BA Honours degree in International Business and Modern Languages, which I loved but I was never really sure where I wanted to go from there. I bounced around various sectors, the whole time contemplating going back to university to get a new qualification but I just couldn’t quite figure out in what. All I knew was that I wanted to help people: to make positive changes; to figure out what they want to do with their lives; to find the motivation to realise their full potential; to live life happier and healthier, but I wasn’t 100% sold on any one particular qualification.
Then I stumbled across a course that seemed to be the perfect fit, NLP Coaching (or neuro-linguistic programming). After the first couple of days I already knew that NLP was meant for me. I absolutely loved coaching and using NLP. I realised I had found “my thing” and could visualise what I wanted to do with my life and career. The course was fantastic. Since then I have continued to coach with NLP as well as to use it myself. I enjoy it more and more each day and am genuinely convinced about its ability to make positive changes. Looking back, I am so very glad that I made the decision I did.
The personal training came a couple of years later when I decided that my love of fitness was the perfect accompaniment to NLP coaching. After all, mind and body go hand in hand and it is amazing how one can affect the other when there is an imbalance. Just think about how stress can send a person’s blood pressure through the roof and you have the perfect example. I have always loved exercise (although I wasn’t always healthy throughout my life – I’ve had my moments just like everyone) and I want to help people become fit and healthy doing activities that they enjoy. Personally, I like functional training. I also ride horses, I go running and, after a course in kite surfing, am addicted and determined to improve and fly 20ft up in the air! I also try new classes and activities often. It’s great to challenge yourself and you never know what you might enjoy!
It took me quite a long time to find my way and to realise what I wanted to do with my life. I got there in the end, with support and help from a lot of great people. Everyone could use a little support and insight every now and then. Asking for it makes us more honest and brave than we give ourselves credit for.
So if you are ready for a little help then I would love to hear from you and get you started on your journey to wherever it is you want to go!
